In partnership with the Kenyan Government, Curamericas has served 35,960 community members in the midst of the pandemic in rural communities. Thanks to the work of our staff and partners, we were able to eliminate preventable maternal deaths and reach 470 young adolescents through our innovative sexual reproductive health curriculum.

Since August 2020, Curamericas has supported the hiring, training, and ongoing support of more than 200 Community Health Workers across 26 counties within NC, in its effort to reach the most vulnerable and marginalized communities. These families often fall outside of the healthcare system, a problem that has been amplified amid the COVID-19 pandemic
